Earlswood Village Museum

 

Just a reminder: your local Museum will again be opening every Saturday from 27th July until 7th September (2.30 – 4.30pm) admission is FREE and usually we have Tea / Coffee & biscuits available whilst you browse.

This year we have displays including:

St Patrick’s School, Salter Street: Old Photographs & Information – if you or your family attended this school why not call in and see if you can help us identify people on the photo’s

Elizabeth Podmore: A letter from a local schoolgirl in 1831

We also have many items of local interest together with historic maps, photographs and information about Earlswood and the surrounding area.

Councillor Resignations

Councillor Doidge and O’Brien have both recently resigned as Councillors for the Earlswood Ward of Tanworth in Arden Parish Council.

The Parish Council would like to thank them both for their service to both the Parish Council and the community over a continued number of years.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Parish assembly on Wednesday 1st May, and to everyone who submitted a written report.
Written reports were received from a number of organisations and community groups. We are extremely fortunate to have such a wide variety of local groups and volunteers, who contribute so much to the Parish. It was fantastic to review all the accomplishments of the
