Planning Applications

Tanworth in Arden Parish Council is a  statutory consultees in the planning process and is informed of all planning applications, and any amendments to those applications, within the parish. The PC can only comment on these planning applications in the same way as any other member of the public. The Planning Committee usually meet every other Monday morning in the Parish Office to consider applications received. These monthly meetings are open to members of the public and press. The committee then put forward their recommendations as consultees to Stratford District Council Planning. SDC Planning Officers make the final decision on applications within the Parish.

Planning Considerations

The Committee consider the impact of the application to the community, referring to the Tanworth in Arden Neighbourhood Plan. Considerations cover many factors such as existing site use, noise, smell and fumes, environmental features, Green Belt, Conservation Area, impact on neighbour viability, public rights of way and sustainability.
